One of the key events of the Kick Cancer Cyclocross Derby is the Corporate Race.

This 4 person relay race is intended for local companies to become involved in the event on a different level. Each racer will ride a lap of the course and have an opportunity to experience the unique spirit of cyclocross racing first-hand. 

Companies that participate in the Corporate Race will receive the following:

• An opportunity to place a banner along a stretch of the course that is not branded by a current sponsor.
• The overall winner of the corporate relay will receive a trophy and individual medals commemorating their victory.
• Invitation to attend the official kick-off reception to mingle with some of Canada’s top cyclists and other key participants of the event.

As with the other pre-weekend events, costumes, (tasteful) heckling and other forms of cyclocross ridiculousness are encouraged. Companies will be judged on both their team spirit as well as how well they do in the race. There will be prizes for both of these categories.

This relay race offers a great opportunity for local Winnipeg companies to network with one another. What better way to kick of a weekend of promotion and marketing then a creating a friendly rivalry between Winnipeg businessmen and women.
